Pretty good pizza. There no seating so it's all to go. It was real fast. It might have taken 10 minutes. The staff was nice.
Pizza was VERY large, I was full after 2 pieces. We got delivery but the deliverer was very nice. We also had garlic knots which were okay. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had because it was also kind of dry but pizza is pizza so
I love Nunzios as a local pizza place. Takeout only. It's affordable. It's huge. And it's really good. It has a crisp bottom, great flavored sauce, and not overwhelmingly cheesy. In the ten minutes it takes to get back to the house the crust doesn't lose its crisp which is probably one of the best parts. It's a great combination of textures. We got a large pizza 18" about $20 bucks. Good yeast flavor and not too salty. This is a review of the basic large cheese but I would eat their pizza over most any other place in Hampstead! But if you're looking for sit down and/or atmosphere this isn't for you. As for the crispy pizza and the regular I didn't notice a major difference. They were pretty similar other than the size of the pizzas. I'm giving 5 stars because it's good and a great value.
This is the best pizza I've had since moving to NC. It's thin, crispy and full of flavor.
Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. Their Grandma's Sicilian is out of this world! And the staff is very friendly and polite.
New York style pizza done like southern New England does pie! Great people and great delivery driver
:( Closed for remodeling in the busy Summertime hustle We always enjoy our Friday night usual order but we're surprised when we called to place our orders this past weekend. Hope they reopen soon.
They are from Brooklyn!!! Being from NY my expectations were low on finding good pizza in North Carolina. I went to Nunzio's on a recommendation and was extremely impressed. I truly believe you could put their pizza head to head with some of the pizza places on Long Island. Really good pizza.
Nunzio's is the BEST NY style pie we've had in the South. We came up from Chucktown to visit our friends in Wilmington. In CHS, we're constantly complaining about our lack of authentic Lowcountry pizza options. Our friend, Josh, another northern transplant ordered Nunzio's without hesitation. Chewy, slightly charred crust. Sweet, basily red sauce. Mozz that's premium enough to hold together, but also greasy enough to enjoy. And of course....the fold. Ah, the fold. Perhaps the most impressive thing about Nunzio's is how well it keeps and presents when delivered. This is where most pizza places fail. Great in house...but there's a slip when delivered. We enjoyed the HELL out of our Nunzio's delivery. We got a few Nunzio pies, but the best by far was the pepperoni. Just the right amount of spices, sweetness, and chewiness. If John's (on Bleeker) is 100 and Pizza Time (Ft. Lauderdale) is a 95.....then Nunzio's is at LEAST a 91. Can't wait to get the EXACT same pie the next time we're in Wilmington. Pizza molto deliziosa! Torneremo presto!
